Design concept of future phases

Future phases of the new developments at Stevenson Commons will provide an additional 600 new affordable apartments, distributed across 3 buildings and with unit sizes ranging from studios to 3-beds. Units will be available to low- and moderate-income households and will be designed according to HPD term sheets and standards. Construction on the future phases is expected to commence in 2027.

These phases will include neighborhood amenities for all residents of Stevenson Commons, as well as the Soundview community. The amenities will include childcare facilities, universal Pre-K, new tennis courts, multi-purpose community rooms, seating areas, and new pedestrian through-lot access between Lafayette and Seward Avenues. Additionally, Camber will design a playground in collaboration with Community Board 9 and Stevenson Commons residents.
