Senior Housing (B4)

The Senior Housing will include a 6-story building providing 116 studios for older adults 62+ years old and earning up to 60% AMI, with 36 units set-aside for formerly homeless older adults. The project will be awarded Project Based Vouchers for 100% of the units, with tenants paying 30% of their income towards rent. The apartments were designed to promote health and wellbeing for its residents, integrating Aging in Place guidelines in all units and throughout the building. Residential amenities will include a community room, a fourth floor roof terrace, a gym, and laundry facilities. Camber has partnered with Regional Aid for Interim Needs (R.A.I.N.) to provide social services to residents, such as case assistance, home care services, and recreational activities. Construction started in January 2024 and is to be completed in October of 2025. Rental applications are expected to be available through the NYC Housing Connect Lottery in the Spring of 2025.
